BiOrb Cleaner Pump

Suitable for ALL BiOrb, BiUbe and BiOrb Life aquariums
The unique cartridge based filtration system in the biOrb aquariums ensures that maintenance is as simple as possible. However, you still need to perform water changes. The powerful BiOrb Cleaner Pump allows you to carry out a water change very quickly and without the mess.
The BiOrb Cleaner Pump is one of the most popular products with BiOrb and non-BiOrb owners alike. The Cleaner Pump makes partial water changes easy and effective with minimum effort. A couple of squeezes on the hand pump is all that is needed to get the pump working. While emptying water from the aquarium the cleaner pump will also suck up dirt and debris from the bottom.
The Cleaner Pump can also be used to pump water back into the aquarium, eliminating the need to struggle with heavy buckets of water.

BiOrb Service Kit

Suitable for ALL BiOrb, BiUbe and BiOrb Life aquariums
The standard biOrb Service Kit (including filter cartridge) is suitable for all BiOrb, BiUbe and BiOrb Life aquariums. The kit contains everything you will need to service your aquarium, including conditioners to remove harmful chlorine from your tap water. In the BiOrb 60L (16 gallon) and in marine tanks the filter should be replaced every four weeks. If tanks with more than the recommended bio-load (a function of the # of fish & size of fish) you may want to change out the filter cartridge more frequently.
NOTE: It is recommended that you replace one-third of your aquarium water when changing your filter cartridge and adding the water treatment sachets. A BiOrb Cleaner Pump is recommended for removing aquarium water.

BiOrb Anti Algae Service Kit

Suitable for ALL FRESHWATER BiOrb, BiUbe and BiOrb Life aquariums
The BiOrb Anti Algae kit contains a specially designed Anti-Algae cartridge, Anti Algae sachets (an additive to help clump algae together) and full instructions.
The Anti Algae Kit is designed to be used if Algae levels increase to significant levels. If you only have a small amount of algae you are probably over feeding and/or your aquarium is in too much light.
The Anti Algae Kit destroys the algae—making it easier to remove. The standard Filter cartridge should be removed and the Anti-algae filter cartridge installed. 25% of the anti-algae sachet is then added every day for 4 days. The Anti Algae cartridge must be replaced after 7 days with a standard Service Kit.
If your aquariums still suffers from an Algae problem after the treatment then the problem is likely to be because of over-feeding or positioning your aquarium in sunlight. Consider reducing feeding (Goldfish 2-3 pellets per day Maximum) and moving your aquarium into a darker corner of your house.

BiOrb Replacement Air Stone, Single Pack

Suitable for ALL BiOrb, BiUbe and BiOrb Life aquariums
BiOrb Replacement Air Stone, Single Pack
The air stone, located at the base of the aquarium, breaks up the flow of air into the aquarium into a mass of bubbles. After a time the air stone can become blocked by calcification, especially in hard water areas, reducing the flow of air into the aquarium.
Replacing the air stone every few months will keep your aquarium bubbling away nicely. In some hard water areas it may be necessary to replace the air stone more frequently, but once every 6 months should be sufficient for most owners.

BiOrb Ceramic Media, 1 lb

Suitable for ALL BiOrb, BiUbe and BiOrb Life aquariums
The BiOrb and BiUbe tanks all come with Ceramic Media. However, you may also want to have a greater amount of Media in your tank than is originally provided. Beneficial bacteria live on the highly porous Ceramic Media. This bacteria processes the waste produced by the fish and ensures that the aquarium remains a healthy environment.
After a few years the micro holes in the Media can become clogged so replacing some may be beneficial. If you wish to change the media you should do so gradually, in stages, and not all at once. Changing the media gradually allows the existing bacteria to colonize the new media.

BiOrb Replacement One Way Valve

The BiOrb One Way Valve provides insurance against the unlikely event of water leaking into your air line. At least every 6 months a check should be made by disconnecting the air pump and lowering the air line below the water line. In the unlikely event of leakage, a one way valve can be fitted to the air line. This should be fitted six inches from the air pump. If you wish to extend the length of the air line from your aquarium it is advisable to do so with a one way valve.
