The Air Pump pushes water through the Filter Cartridge and water is returned to the tank through the Bubble Tube. An Airstone at the base of the Bubble Tube creates air bubbles that stream out of the Bubble Tube.
- Baby Moonlight Lighting: The BiOrb comes with a 5W Halogen bulb that provides light during the day. When room is dark the BiOrb will automatically switch to a blue LED moonlight (this automatic function can be switched off).

The BiOrb Tropical Heater Kit transforms the biOrb or biUbe into a perfect habitat for tropical fish, allowing a wider choice of colorful fish. A snap out section in the BiOrb light unit provides a gap into which the lead from the heater can rest, keeping the lead tidy while allowing the light unit to remain snugly fitted in the top.
The included heater stand enables the fixing of a heater onto the curved inside of the BiOrb. Although designed for use in the BiOrb, the heater stand can be used in most aquariums if desired.
