Red Sea Reef Foundation ABC+ Supplement

This supplement is a combination of Reef Foundation A (Calcium & Strontium), Reef Foundation B (alkalinity Buffer) and Reef Foundation C (Magnesium). It includes calcium, magnesium, strontium and carbonate, which are the basic foundation elements of coral skeletons. All these elements need to be available in balanced proportions for coral health and growth. Reef Foundation ABC+ is a powdered blend of all of the foundation elements with the addition of potassium, bromine and iodine in unique ratio required by corals. Alternatively, instead of this single combined formula, you may want to have greater control by using the individual Reef Foundation A (Calcium & Strontium), Reef Foundation B (alkalinity Buffer) and Reef Foundation C (Magnesium) supplements

Red Sea Reef Colors A, Iodine Halogen Supplement, 16.9 fl. oz

Red Sea Reef Colors A is a complex of halogens (Iodine, Bromine and Fluorine) that promote the pink colors in corals. These halogens act both as antioxidants and oxidative agents within the soft tissue and mucus layer of corals, reducing the possibility of coral bleaching. In active reef systems, these elements are depleted quickly due to their high oxidative abilities and reactivity with organic materials. Iodine and bromine are related to the pink chromo-protein (pocciloporin).

Red Sea Coral Colors B, Potassium & Boron Supplement, 16.9 fl. oz

Red Sea Reef Colors B is a complex of potassium and boron that promotes the red colors in corals. Potassium plays an essential role in the transportation of coral nutrients within the soft tissue (including the nutrients provided by the Zooxanthellae). Potassium and Boron significantly affect the alkalinity of a coral’s soft tissue and the formation of aragonite in its skeleton. Potassium is related to the redchromo-proteins.

Red Sea Coral Colors C, Fe & Complementary Metals Trace Element, 16.9 fl. oz

Coral Color C is an iron & complementary trace element complex that promote the green colors in corals. This complex contains 8 “light” metals, including Iron, Manganese, Cobalt, Copper, Aluminum, Zinc, Chrome and Nickel, which are micro-elements that are essential to many bio-chemical metabolic processes, including respiration, production of energy, chlorophyll and photosynthetic catalysts. C elements are related to the green/yellowchromo-proteins.

Red Sea Coral Colors D, Bioactive Trace Element, 16.9 fl. oz

Coral Color D is a complex of 18 trace elements that promote the purple/blue colors in corals. It contains a blend of trace elements that are associated with many biological processes, one of them being the production of the purple/blue pigments in the soft tissue of corals. To ensure coral health, the ppm level of these elements must be maintained within a narrow band and therefore should only be dosed according to a measured requirement of the aquarium. For optimal results dose in proportion to the dosing of Red Sea's Foundation A (calcium/strontium) supplement.

Red Sea Reef Energy A, Concentrated Energy Source, 16.9 fl. oz

Reef Energy A is an organic complex of dissolved and suspended energy sources. This unique formulation of carbohydrates, amino acids, fatty acids and suspended protein flocks are available for direct consumption and absorption by the corals. The suspension of protein flocks promotes the micro bacterial fauna that naturally populates the coral tissue and will increase mucus production. Every component is utilized in the metabolic processes of coral protein production and soft tissue regeneration and therefore does not introduce any unnecessary organic material to the system. Reef Energy A stimulates extension of the polyps and soft tissue, helping the coral to optimize nutrient consumption by expanding its surface area for absorption.

Red Sea Reef Energy B, Amino Acids and Vitamins, 16.9 fl. oz

Reef Energy B is a highly concentrated complex of vitamins & amino acids that were found to be the limiting factors in the nutritional demands of corals and other invertebrates. This complex replenishes the exact vitamins and MAA (marine amino acids) produced by Zooxanthellae. Vitamins are important precursors in the synthesis of chromo proteins while the amino acids are their building blocks.
All of the components of Reef Energy B come from marine sources and are emulsified in a unique medium that enhances their solubility and absorption of the vitamins and acids by the corals.

Red Sea NO3:PO4-X, Biological Nitrate and Phosphate Reducer, 16.9 fl oz

NO3:PO4-X prevents nuisance algae and enables the control of zooxanthellae for optimum coral growth and coloration. This biological nitrate and phosphate reducer contains a unique complex of carbons that are used by nutrient-reducing bacteria. Each carbon is utilized by different strains of microorganisms while maintaining the specific Carbon: Nitrogen: Phosphorus ratio required for each stage. The complex includes other organic bonded elements that are important stimulators in each stage of the reduction process. These metal and non-metals elements ensure steady bacterial propagation and complete nitrate reduction to nitrogen gas and the absorption and utilization of phosphate by the bacteria.

Red Sea Coralline Gro, Live Rock Vitalizer, 16.9 fl. oz

Coralline Gro, Live Rock Vitalizer is a trace element and buffer complex that promotes the development of coralline algae. It contains specific elements required for the active development of coralline algae in all marine systems. Coralline Gro should be used while cycling new systems and continuously in fish only or soft coral aquariums. Coralline Gro can be used instead of Reef Foundation B to maintain alkalinity at 3.0 meq/l (8.4 dKH). Do not use Coralline Gro together with Red Sea's Reef Color B and Reef Color C supplements as they may cause overdosing of specific elements.

Red Sea Success Coral Buff, 14 fl. oz.

The Red Sea Coral Buff maintains a high buffer capacity & stable pH in reef aquariums.
The pH of natural seawater remains stable due to its nearly inexhaustible stock of dissolved alkaline buffer substances such as bicarbonate, carbonate and borate. In a reef aquarium, buffering substances are constantly consumed as part of the calcification process by corals, calcareous algae and other invertebrates and should be replenished on regular basis. A low alkalinity may allow a sudden fall in pH which would be very dangerous to all organisms in the aquarium.
For best result reef aquariums should have an alkalinity of 2.5 - 4 meq/L (7-11 dKH,) and a stable pH of 8.2 -8.4. Check the alkalinity of your aquarium weekly with Red Sea’s Alkalinity Test Lab.
Recommended for use in conjunction with weekly 10% water changes.
