The IceCap K3-160 OVP (Open Volute Pump) In-Sump Protein Skimmer provides exceptional filtration performance with the smallest footprint for marine aquariums up to 250 gallons. In addition, IceCap built this skimmer to surpass many challenges other space-saving skimmers on the market cannot. The vertical placement of the pump allows the output to be positioned at the lowest spot possible on the inside of the skimmer. This enhances the air-to-water contact time, makes for less turbulence, and as a result a steadier head of foam. The Simple-to-use pump controller with 10 power levels and a feed timer.

The IceCap K3-160 OVP body is constructed of high-quality acrylic and equipped with the new controllable and efficient DCAIR pinwheel pump that produces an ideal mix of water and air for optimal waste removal at the push of a button.
