Description

The Reef Octopus Octo Bio Churn 90HOB-EXT takes a new approach to efficiently fluidizing biopellet media without blasting the media itself with direct flow pressure. The unique motion these innovative reactors produce allow for much greater suspension of the media in a cyclone "churn" style motion created with their patent pending churn plate.

Comes with a Aquatrance 800 feed pump that feeds the reactor as well as disperses the media into suspension. This is ideal for those that want a simple reactor that is easy to use and maintain. The cascading design allows for greater surface area for bacteria to colonize while the delicate churn motion of the pellets allow for extended contact time between the nutrient rich aquarium water and the biopellet media.
