We recommend using the Tunze Eco Chic Refugium Light 8831 as a refugium light. This light is submersible and can easily fit into the back chamber of a nano tank or in a sump. You can put the light in vertically or, using the magnet holder, attach the light so it is situated horizontally.

Though we champion this unique light as a refugium light, it could also be used as a planted tank light for aquariums up to 15 gallons.

  • Can be used in air or in water. When used in water it is more effective as light is not lost through reflection
  • Magnet Holder for a glass thickness up to 10mm (3/8")
